Terms of Service

Effective date: April 28, 2026

1. Service Overview

"ETH Staking Comparison" (the "Service") is a free web tool that compares APR across Ethereum staking protocols and simulates cumulative rewards. Based on user-entered ETH balance and period, it provides deterministic and probabilistic (Monte Carlo) estimates.

2. Use Conditions

  • The Service is free for anyone to use.
  • No signup or login is required.
  • Bulk-scraping the Service or interfering with its operation through automated tools is prohibited.
  • Reselling Service results to third parties for a fee is prohibited.

3. Data Limitations

All numbers shown by the Service are subject to the following limitations:

  • APR variability: staking reward rates fluctuate continuously with network conditions. Displayed values are 7/30/90-day rolling averages and do not guarantee future returns.
  • Monte Carlo simulation: 200 runs is a statistical estimate; real outcomes can be more extreme even within the distribution. Negative APR (slashing) and black-swan events are not fully captured.
  • Currency conversion: fiat values are based on *current* ETH price; future price moves are not modeled.
  • Korean crypto tax: numbers reflect an *estimate* of the rules scheduled for 2027 implementation and may change. Profit/loss netting and carry-forward details are simplified.
  • Solo validator: requires 32 ETH to actually operate. The displayed value is estimated from Lido pre-fee; MEV, ops costs, hardware, and slashing risk are not modeled.
  • Exchange policies: lockup, withdrawal, and fee policies may change at any time and may not be reflected here immediately.

4. Disclaimer

The Service is a simulation tool for informational and educational purposes — not investment advice. The operator assumes no responsibility for any losses incurred from reliance on these results.

Before any actual staking decision, please consult each protocol/exchange's official documentation, a qualified tax professional, and your local regulations.

5. Intellectual Property

The design, code, and text content of the Service are copyrighted by the operator. Market data shown comes from external sources (Ethereum mainnet public chain, Binance, Upbit, bitbank, etc.) and follows each source's policy. AdSense ads are provided by Google.

6. Service Changes / Suspension

The operator may add, change, or suspend Service features without prior notice. If the data refresh cron temporarily fails or external APIs change, displayed numbers may be temporarily inaccurate.

7. Changes to These Terms

When these terms change, this page will be updated immediately and the change log recorded below. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
