Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This site (the "ETH Staking Comparison") is a free web tool that simulates Ethereum staking rewards based on user-entered ETH balance and time horizon. This policy explains the types of information collected during use, the purpose of collection, retention, and any third-party sharing.

2. Information We Collect

2-1. User input (not collected or stored)

ETH balance, DCA contribution/withdrawal, holding period, tax options, and any other value you enter into the calculator are processed only in your browser and are never sent to or stored on any external server. Refreshing or closing the page clears all input. The only exception is the price cache (1-minute TTL) saved temporarily in localStorage.

2-2. Automatically collected information

The following information may be collected through standard third-party web analytics and advertising services:

Visit history (pageviews, time on page)
Access environment (browser, device, OS)
Approximate location (country/city)
Referrer URL
IP address (not stored in identifiable form)

3. Third-Party Services

3-1. Google Analytics (GA4)

We use Google Analytics for traffic analysis. Property ID: G-WQ0C5Z84TW. Google processes data per its own privacy policy. See: Google Privacy Policy.

To opt out of Google Analytics tracking, install the GA opt-out browser add-on.

3-2. Google AdSense

We display Google AdSense ads to support the site. AdSense may use cookies to show interest-based advertising. You can disable personalized ads at Google Ad Settings.

3-3. Cloudflare

The site is hosted via Cloudflare. Cloudflare automatically processes technical info (including IP) for security and CDN purposes. See Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

3-4. Exchange price APIs (Binance · Upbit · bitbank)

We use the public ticker APIs of Binance (USD), Upbit (KRW), and bitbank (JPY) for ETH price display. No identifying information is transmitted; price data is fetched directly from the user's browser.

3-5. PublicNode (Ethereum RPC)

Staking exchange-rate data is collected once per day (via background GitHub Actions) through PublicNode's free Ethereum JSON-RPC endpoint. The user's browser does not call the RPC directly.

3-6. Web3Forms

The "Send Feedback" feature relays your message to the operator's email via Web3Forms. Only the message and (optional) email you provide are sent; no other information is automatically collected.

4. Cookies

Browser cookies and localStorage are used for:

ETH price cache (1-minute TTL — to reduce API calls)
Google Analytics visitor ID (default 1 year)
Google AdSense ad personalization

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features (price cache, etc.) may be disabled, but core usage is unaffected.

5. Security

All communication is encrypted via HTTPS. Because user input never leaves the browser, the data-leak risk is structurally low.

6. Your Rights

Since we don't store input values, no separate deletion request is needed for those. Google Analytics/AdSense data must be requested directly from each provider.

7. Disclaimer

All numbers shown are simulations based on user-entered assumptions and historical data, and do not guarantee future returns. Staking APR fluctuates with market conditions, and tax rules may change. The site operator is not responsible for losses incurred from investment or financial decisions based on these results. For slashing, lockup, and withdrawal policies, consult each protocol/exchange's official documentation.
